No child chooses the family he/she is born into. No child really wants to grow up without access to basic education or would desire to hawk all day under the harsh elements for his/her sustenance. Caring Hearts Heritage Initiative (CHHI) got registered as a non-profit and non-religious organization to care for the plight of the vulnerable children in our community. Through the vulnerable children, CHHI provides further aids by empowering parents and providing food support to their immediate families.
Our main focus is to ensure that the children get educated from primary to tertiary level. But how will a hungry child learn well and how can he/she remain in school where his/her family members rely heavily on him/her for their daily livelihood?
Caring Hearts Heritage Initiative was founded in 2011 to assist vulnerable children by enabling them to have access to education, feeding interventions, good health care, clothing, and their parents empowerment programs.
CHHI is supported by grants and donations from private donors and corporate sponsors.
At CHHI, our management team serves as hands-on-field volunteers together with other volunteers to proffer solutions to the immediate needs of the vulnerable children within our community. We strive to serve as the intermediary between as many identified vulnerable children, orphans, and most especially children hawking in the streets and the donors for their education from primary to tertiary level and for their social well-being.
CHHI also provides counselling and guidance to parents with the view to identify/ proffer solutions to the initial problem that prevented these vulnerable children from continuing their education.
At Caring Hearts Heritage Initiative (CHHI), we also work at the grass-root level to strengthen the educational system by spreading awareness about the significance of education and to enroll as many children as possible in school to enable them thrive in life.
Through numerous workshops and activities, awareness is created among parents and local communities regarding the importance of education. We regulate well organised counseling sessions to motivate parents to send their children particularly the girl-child to school and help them participate in several activities.
We inspire and help them live better
